ay Ladies' Bible StudyRunning concurrently with the school year, this Bible study is a group of women who encourage each other and delve deeper into God's plan for our lives. Our next study, Priscilla Shirer's Gideon, will begin in September of 2013. For more information on this study, click here. MOPS and MOMSnext+ MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and the group exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. MOPS is option to mothers with children birth through kindergarten-aged. MOMSnext extends to those with elementary-aged children. We strive to meet the needs of every mom - working and stay-at-home moms, urban and rural moms, single and married moms - moms who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources. Our group meets the first Thursday of the month (September through May) from 6-8pm at LUMC. Free childcare and dinner are provided at meetings. We also have a monthly dinner out along with summer family events. Dues are $43.95 per year which includes the MOPS International and local dues.
