Praise Groups

One Voice (Formerly V.I.P.)
2 Chronicles 5:13: “The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord.”

One Voice praise team leads worship in our contemporary services. This team consists of a full band – guitars, bass, drums, keyboard; vocalists; sound technician; and audio visual personnel. The name represents our desire to join all singers, instruments, visuals, and sounds as one “voice”, one offering of worship, to our Lord and Savior. The band and lead vocals rehearse Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 and Sunday mornings at 8:00 before services.

Praise Choir
A new choir for contemporary worship is forming, beginning October 3rd! The goal of this group is to learn music and to fellowship on a weekly basis, and to sing in contemporary services once or twice a month. Practices will start on Wednesday evenings after HIS Kids from 7:10 to 8:00 in room 221. Prior choir experience is helpful, but not necessary. You will learn tips on improving your voice and singing parts in a group. If you love music and have a passion for worship, you will serve the church well by joining this choir. If you would like to participate or have questions, please contact Melody Sommers. melody.sommers@lumcmo.org

Bridge
This group leads worship once a month for the contemporary services. We recognize that Jesus is the “bridge” between God and humankind and we desire to help lead people to a greater relationship with Jesus through worship. This group is by invitation and rehearsals are worked among the group.
